Logan Elementary School

Logan ES is a Detroit Public School in the South East Side of Detroit. The School is predominantly Latino, and there is much need for Volunteers with Spanish Language Ability. LUCY Students have done a veriety of projects including teaching Violin classes, afterschool sports, arts and crafts, general tutoring, and classroom help.

University Preparatory Academy

UPA is a charter school system serving all of Wayne County located in the heart of Detroit. UPA is a cutting edge school with a project based curriculum. At least one former LUCY student is now an Advisor (teacher) at UPA High School, and our students have participated in the growth of many students at UPA. LUCY students routinely help UPA students with their advisory projects, which include mentoring, math help, and research skill development.
