
A lot of things can change in four years. In the past four years, affirmative action has been banned in Michigan, and the Civil Rights Initiatives are sneaking into Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, and Oklahoma. Asian American Studies program have sprung up in Minnesota, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, while University of Michigan's program dwindles. It is important to recognize what we, as Asian American students, have accomplished, as well as the new steps we need to take to better this world we live in. We need to reflect on our past, going beyond the past four years, connect with our current state, and seek new directions collectively.

At this time we are at capacity with registered participants. However, there are limited spots open for those who want to attend the conference but NOT the banquet. These registration spots are available for $30. If the actual attendance to the conference/banquet is lower than expected and seats become available, you will have the option of purchasing banquet tickets for an additional $30. This option is available at a first come first serve basis.
All registration costs (late or limited) must now be paid at the conference.

Volunteer Registration:
There will be volunteer opportunities before and during the MAASU Spring Conference. After registering as a volunteer, your e-mail will be added to a listserve and you will begin to receive information about MAASU volunteer opportunities. Volunteering is a great way to have a hands-on MAASU experience and a great opportunity to show others how awesome our campus is.
