Venus Down the Hall
There has been a renewed interest in Venus De Milo because of the recently published book "Disarmed: The Story of Venus de Milo" by Gregory Curtis. The Martha Cook Alums are now celebrating our very own Venus de Milo with a new section on our website titled "Venus Down the Hall" (derived from the song lyrics of "Martha Cook Our Building").
Please visit send us any articles or images you may find about Venus. We are especially interested in receiving photos of you and Venus (the original) on you visits to the Louvre in Paris, as well as photos of our Venus from your college days. Please send us your name, approximate date of the photo, and any other pertinent information for a caption. We request that you send images as jpg files to our webmaster at mffox@umich.edu
