BIBLE STUDY DISCUSSION GROUPS

MCGrads Bible Studies are not vapid discussions, but designed and written for graduate students with specific application relevant to their lives and concerns. Join a group and see God use in your life these times of open sharing, group discussion, and study together.

Bible Studies:

For a deeper examination of God's word with the support of others we would encourage you to join one of these small group studies. Groups of <12 people meet each week for a topical study suited to the unique challenges of life as a Christian graduate student. The small groups use a guided discussion format with the same people each week to encourage building friendships, deeper conversations, and follow-up to prayer. New people can join ongoing groups with their friends or start new groups. Each group will meet at a time and location best suited to those participating (stay tuned), while our weekly Sunday night event is a common chance to gather and share time together as a larger community.

Investigative Bible Studies:

If you don't consider yourself a Christian (a follower of Jesus) at this time, but are interested to learn more about the Bible, Jesus Christ, and Christianity, please email us at mcgrads@umich.edu. MCGrads seeks to resource all grad students wherever they are in their spiritual journeys, including those who desire to know more. We can meet with you individually to design a specific reading and discussion plan to learn more — or if there are a number of interested persons, we can start an Investigative Bible Study Discussion Group. Please contact us; we're glad to be a resource to you.
