Strange Particles	By Sherri Smith and Gordon Kane

My collaboration with Gordon Kane resulted in two printed fabics with the same image (one is multicolored). The image is from the cloud chamber event in which the kaon was discovered. Sherri Smith is a professor at the School of Art and Design working with textiles. A practicing artist for over 30 years her work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Contemporary Crafts Museum in New York, and the Centre International de la Tapisserie in Switzerland, among many other venues. Gordon Kane is a professor of high energy theoretical physics. He has written numerous books and articles, and he is very interested in the visual and musical arts.
