We are pleased to announce a workshop on Baryogenesis at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from June 9 through June 27, 2003. The aim of the workshop is to bring together a group of interested physicists to discuss outstanding theoretical questions as well as the phenomenological consequences of the different baryogenesis scenarios. We plan to have 2 or 3 talks per day, leaving time for research and informal discussions.

The workshop will last three weeks. Initially, we will concentrate on technical aspects, including the foundations, issues of field theory at zero and finite temperature, and the derivation and solution of the Boltzmann equations necessary for the computation of the baryon asymmetry.

Then the workshop will turn to more phenomenological aspects, including an overview of the different scenarios (leptogenesis, electroweak baryogenesis, Affleck-Dine, etc.), their realization in different models, and the consequences for experiments and observations.

Space is limited so let us know if you are interested in attending. There will be no registration fee. Some funding is available to help defray travel and subsistence expenses of some participants. Postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to apply. Physicists who anticipate needing financial support should let us know before March 1, 2003.
