Past due policy
The grade for a past due material is adjusted by the following equation:
where x and y are the grades before and after adjustment, respectively, and t is the hours between the due and the time when the instructor receives the material. For example, if the submission is less than one hour late, there will be no adjustment (i.e., y = x). If the submission is 2.5 hours late, y = 0.81x. Please note that t is not the time when you slip the late due material under the door of the instructor's office. Obviously it is a good idea not to be late .
