Michigan Drops to #8 in the
Rankings
ANN ARBOR, Mich.-- After losing two games in a row out West last week, Michigan (2-2) dropped from 4th to 8th in the latest USLIA national rankings. This is the lowest the Wolverines have been ranked since early in the 2000 season.
Colorado State, who Michigan hosts on April 5 at the Michigan Invitational, remained in the top spot with all 30 first place votes. Sonoma State stayed at #2, and BYU, who defeated Michigan 12-9 in Provo on Saturday, stayed at #3. UCSB and Virginia Tech rounded out the top five. Michigan plays Virginia Tech at Vanderbilt, on Friday, March 15.
Michigan's next game is against #9
California-Berkeley, this Friday at 7:00 p.m. in Oosterbaan Fieldhouse
