Michigan State Game to be Televised Live
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - This upcoming Saturday, April 22, the #1
University of Michigan men’s lacrosse team will be able to display their
talents to an even broader audience than usual as their contest vs.
interstate rival #22 Michigan State will be broadcast live on Comcast
Local Sports. The game will take place in Grand Rapids, Michigan at
Forest Hills Central High School at 7:30pm EST. Tickets have been
selling for several weeks, and a crowd of several thousand is
anticipated.
The day's events begin with a high school match-up between Forest Hills
and East Lansing. Following the high school game, the Powell
brothers, Mikey, Ryan and Casey, will be doing an on-field demonstration
for the crowd, beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. Michigan and
Michigan State take the field as the showcase event to finish the day.
Comcast Local Sports is a 24-hour regional sports network serving
Indiana and Michigan focusing on collegiate and professional sports. In
Ann Arbor, Comcast Local Sports can be found on channel 8, while in
Grand Rapids it is channel 23 and Lansing is channel 22. The game will
shown live and repeated several times. It may also be picked in
other markets nationally. Check local listings.
The game
will feature two teams looking to finish off their regular season with a
win as they head into the CCLA Conference Championship. With a victory,
the Wolverines would capture the regular-season conference title, and a
#1 seed headed into the playoffs next weekend.
