Michigan to Face #13 Northeastern in MCLA First Round

Ann Arbor, Mich. - Just hours after beating Michigan State for the CCLA championship the Wolverines learned that they will face #13 Northeastern, the PCLL runners-up,  in the first round of the MCLA National Championship Tournament on Tuesday, May 15 in Dallas.  This is the ninth straight trip to the MCLA tournament for Michigan and the sixth time the Wolverines have been a top-4 seed.  Michigan is 1-0 versus Northeastern, having beaten the Huskies 13-6 in their one previous meeting which took place in the first round of the 2005 MCLA Tournament.

The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. CST faceoff on Field 2 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.  The winner will play again the next day at 7:00 p.m. against the winner of the first round game between #5 UCSB and #12 Georgia.
