Kohlitz Wins CollegeLax MCLA Player of the Week Award
Ann Arbor, Mich. - Fresh off his dominating performances against
Arizona State and Arizona this week, senior faceoff specialist Brekan
Kohlitz (St. Clair Shores, Mich./Notre Dame Harper Woods) has
been named the CollegeLax MCLA Player of the Week. Kohlitz won a
career high 20 faceoffs in Michigan's upset win over the 6th ranked Sun
Devils, and he also contributed a goal and an assist in his first career
multi-point game. He followed that up on Wednesday with an 11 of
16 performance against #15 Arizona in Tucson. Kohlitz is
Michigan's first national player of the week award winner.
