WHAT
The Michigan Defense Camp provides an accelerated environment for defensemen and longstick middies to learn their positions through a focused curriculum and individual instruction. Enrollment is kept low, and the camp is staffed by outstanding coaches from across the country.

All aspects of longstick play are covered in a total of six intensive sessions over three days. Concepts include footwork, communication, stick skills, clearing, transition, checks and stick maintenance.

After the Defense Camp, campers can choose to stay for the Advanced Technique Camp at a reduced rate ($75 OFF!) if they want to put what they've learned to use in a team setting right away.

WHERE
All Michigan summer lacrosse camps are held in Ann Arbor on the campus of the University of Michigan. Overnight campers stay in Michigan dormitories.

All Michigan camps are staffed by outstanding college and high school coaches, as well as current and former top college and professional players. The staff is selected for their ability to teach at the highest level with passion and enthusiasm.
