WHAT Unlike most team camps, which are simply tournaments where teams play games all day, the Michigan Team Camp is a teaching and learning environment. Every team that attends will be assigned a college coach who will work with your team, in conjunction with your coaching staff, on improving your approach to practice and games. Topics that will be covered include: practice planning, practice tempo, proper warmups, game preparation, in-season vs. off-season emphasis, effective drills, strategy, film analysis and motivation. The Michigan Team Camp is meant for high school varsity teams and their coaches. Teams must commit a minimum of 18 players, covering all positions on the field, and at least one coach. The camp is held from Friday to Sunday so coaches can more easily attend without missing more than a day of work. All meals are included, and coaches attend for free with their teams.
WHERE WHO All Michigan camps are staffed by outstanding college and high school coaches, as well as current and former top college and professional players. The staff is selected for their ability to teach at the highest level with passion and enthusiasm.
