Brekan Kohlitz
Assistant Coach (1st Season)

Brekan Kohlitz joins the Michigan staff after spending the past four seasons as a player.  He will work with the faceoff units.

Kohlitz ended his Michigan career last May as one of the most honored Wolverines in program history.  He compiled over a 70% faceoff win percentage through his career and finished as Michigan's all-time faceoff and groundball leader.  In 2008 Kohlitz was awarded the Robert DiGiovanni Team MVP Award.  He was a 1st-Team All-American for two straight seasons and was the 2008 MCLA Tournament MVP as he led the team to its first national championship and the first undefeated season in MCLA history.

In May Kohlitz became the first MCLA player ever selected in the MLL draft, and he is currently a faceoff specialist for the Washington Bayhawks.  He is coaching this season while he wraps up his degree.
