Scott Morrison
Assistant Coach (3rd season)

Now in his third season with the Wolverines, Scott Morrison coordinates the Michigan defense.  He also oversees Michigan's recruiting efforts.  He is the director of Michigan's summer defense camp, and he can be seen throughout the summer and the rest of the year at numerous summer camps and recruiting events across the country.

Morrison played two years as a long-stick midfielder at Division II Northwood University before transferring to Wayne State University to pursue his bachelor's degree in psychology.  At Northwood, he played for current Oakland University head coach Ron Hebert.

As a player at Novi High School, Morrison was a crease defenseman and earned a state championship during his playing days.  An All-State honorable mention, Morrison was the first player in his school's history to receive a lacrosse scholarship.  Morrison instructs at several lacrosse camps in the summer.

Morrison came to U-M after serving as the  head coach at Eastern Michigan in 2005, with previous coaching experience at Novi and Ann Arbor Pioneer high schools as an assistant coach, along with a year of head coaching experience for the University Liggett women's team. 

Morrison has been a member of the Motor City lacrosse club for the last nine seasons and recently moved to the Great Lakes Lacrosse Club, where he is a teammate of fellow Michigan assistant coach Brad Gigliotti. He resides in Manchester, Michigan with his girlfriend Jessica.
