physical defender... Started out at close defense, but moved to
longstick midfield as s sophomore, then to short stick midfield defender
as a junior... will contribute at defensive midfield this season.
Sophomore
- 2007:
Played in 18 games,
starting one... Finished with 28 groundballs... Grabbed a career high with
six groundballs vs. Georgia (May 16).
Freshman
- 2006: Played in 11 games and started 1 at long stick midfield...Gathered
3 ground balls vs. Pittsburgh (Mar. 17)...Picked up 6 ground balls vs.
Sonoma State (May 11)
Prep: Played for current Michigan
assistant coach Chris Ridella at Huron High School...1st-Team All-Region and
2nd-Team All-State as a senior...Also played strong safety on the football
team...4 year letterwinner in hockey where he was captain, All-State and
All-Region.

Standiford...Born April 15, 1987...Enrolled in the College of Literature,
Science and the Arts, majoring in Political Science.
