General: Very athletic... great speed and size... very aggressive... second year as the team's starting longstick midfielder, traditionally a premier position at Michigan... has improved his stick skills and clearing ability tremendously.

Junior - 2007: Played in all 18 games, starting 17...  Finished third on the team with 58 groundballs...  Picked up 7 ground balls vs. Florida (Feb. 25)... Collected 6 ground balls vs. Eastern Michigan (March 23)...  Earned the team's Wesley Martus Scholar Athlete Award.

Sophomore - 2006: Started 19 games...Took home the team's Most Improved Player Award...Started first career game vs. Kenyon (Feb. 18)...Picked up career high 5 ground balls against Brigham Young (Feb. 25)...Set new career high in ground balls with 6 vs. Pittsburgh (Mar. 17)...Collected 6 ground balls vs. Arizona (Mar. 24)...Collected 7 ground balls vs. Central Michigan (Apr. 1)...Collected 7 ground balls vs. Oakland (Apr. 15)...Set a new career high with 9 ground balls vs. Michigan State (Apr. 22)

Freshman - 2005: Appeared in 8 games...Finished with 4 ground balls.

Prep: Played for Mike Powers at Troy High School...2nd-Team All-State as a senior...Team Defensive MVP.

Personal: Parents are Beno and Anna Martusiewicz...Born July 16, 1986...Accomplished musician, plays guitar in a band...Enrolled in the College of  Literature, Science and the Arts, majoring in both Pre-Dentistry and Music.
