EVENTS:
Each season the Major Events Office offers a collection of musical and artistic presentations to contribute to the already rich and diverse entertainment environment at the University of Michigan. MEO not only produces shows featuring world-known performers such as Ani DiFranco, Smashing Pumpkins, Bill Maher, BB King, and Melissa Etheridge, but also participates in annual events sponsored by student groups and other community organizations. These annual events include the Annual Cultural Show sponsored by the Indian American Student Association (IASA), Martin Luther King (MLK) Day Celebration, Annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival, Parents Week sponsored by the Student Alumni Council, and the Washtenaw County Command Officers Association Benefit.		..............................................
