Welcome to UM PKU - 2007

The University of Michigan/Peking University
Summer Undergraduate Exchange Program

2007 Pilot Program in Chemistry

I do not have exact dates for these, but they're about right for this week. This is typical of the scene on the way for where the students are living while on the walk to the chemistry building.
As you get close to campus, you pass this entrance to an old cemetary.
Heading north (instead of west, you pass by a complex of buildings known as the Life Sciences Institute. Here is the smaller of those buildings.
Continuing on, you come down a hill over by the medical research area.
Here is looking back up that hill.
Continue to head north and you pass by the medical research comple as well as the University of Michigan hospital. There is a large park off to the north of the area where the hospital is located.
Here is one of the buildings of the UM hospital.
Here is looking back to the west, at some of the medical research buildings. The whole area is like a small city.
Here is that park, across from the area where the medical campus is located.
The Fuller park pool.
More of the park.
More of the park.
