$2500 + Housing + Travel

Eligibility
Students from US schools who have been recommended by their department should complete the information under the "applicant" link. Please ask two faculty members to submit recommendations by directing them to the "recommender" link.

Notices - Please Read BEFORE you apply

1. REU in China can only support students who are citizens of the US or permanent residents (green card holders).
2. The dates of the program are fixed, and are based on the Chinese academic calendar and housing availability.
3. You should have some substantial prior research experience (e.g., a full-time summer experience)
4. You should not only be comfortable about travelling to and living in a foreign setting, but you should be aware that PKU and Tsinghua U are located in a large, urban setting (rather like Columbia U in NYC), so you also need to be comfortable living and working in this sort of environment.
5. Pending funding, there are up to 20 spots in the REU Program that are available to students from around the United States, and we welcome greatly your applications. University of Michigan students are encouraged to apply also, because we have additional spots for them.
