Undergraduate Research for UM Students
Every summer, the department and a number of private and corporate partners provide summer undergraduate research fellowships. This program is only available for chemistry and biochemistry concentrators in their freshman, sophomore or junior year. Our expectation is a minimum 10-week full time research equivalent, including participation in the program of activities associated with the REU program (weekly seminars, field trips, final poster session).
