Welcome to the Michigan Sikhs web site. We have recently changed our name from the Michigan Sikh Study Circle to MI Sikhs.
Michigan Sikhs is a student group at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
With over 20 million members in the world, Sikhism is the fifth largest religion in the world. Sikhs believe that there is only One God (Waheguru), and that the message of God has been passed down to us through ten Gurus. The meaning of the word Sikh is "student," as we try to learn and implement the messages contained in the Sree Guru Granth Sahib, our current Guru.
