Advisory Boards
The Ginsberg Center seeks advice and consultation from its stakeholders through its four advisory boards. The National Advisory Board, consisting of about 20 members representing donors, alums, students, faculty, and community members, advises on Ginsberg Center direction and priorities. The Faculty Council, consisting of about 10 U-M faculty members, offers advice related to advancing service-learning, community-based research, and engaged scholarship in the academy as well as Ginsberg Center direction. The Student Advisory Board, consisting of about 15-20 U-M students involved in community service through Ginsberg Center programs and elsewhere at the University, provides student input into Ginsberg Center activities and direction. The Community Advisory Board, consisting of about eight representatives of community-based organizations, insures the community perspective is represented in all we do.
