About Medical Students
for Choice
Medical Students for Choice is a national organization
comprised of medical students from over 100 medical schools.
Our local chapter, composed of over 70 medical students, is
committed to educating medical students about reproductive
health issues and increasing student access to clinical
opportunities in reproductive health. We aim to reform
current medical curricula so they may address topics in
these areas, and to provide a network of support and
resources for pro-choice students.
Our
purpose
- to increase educational opportunities for
medical students and residents on abortions and
reproductive health
- to reform curricula to include abortion
education
- to educate policymakers about the importance of
abortion training and access
- to increase student access to clinical
opportunities in reproductive health
- to provide a network of support and resources
for pro-choice students
