Pick-Up Service for New Students

Attention:

The pickup service is provided to NEW STUDENTS of the University of Michigan only. Please submit your request no later than 14 days before you take off. Due to the soaring gasoline price, we recommend the requester to compensate the volunteer who offers the ride $25 USD. However, this recommended compensation is not required to make the request and not charged by MTSA. (If our service is unavailable to you, please refer this website of Ann Arbor Area Convention & Visitors Bureau for airport transportation information.) Since MTSA is a non-profit student organization but not a shuttle company, please be more considerate to our volunteers. If you have any doubts regarding our pick-up service, please do not apply for the service to MTSA; you may contact shuttle companies for their services instead.

If you arrive Ann Arbor between Aug 25 - Aug 27. There is a airbus service every 85 mins from morning to evening with $12. The airbus service is supported by the International Student Affairs Commission Michigan Student Assembly (ISAC, MSA). 1. 由於人力有限，MTSA學生會所提供之接機服務對象只限於初次來密西根大學唸書的新生，或千里馬計畫博士生。其他貴客如家長、訪問教授、短期研習、遊客等，請自行在機場租車、搭乘計程車、或請友人幫忙接送。來回底特律機場與學校的交通請參考Ann Arbor觀光局網頁。

2. 請最晚於出發前十四天（兩週）向MTSA提出接機或住宿申請，以便安排。

3. 由於近來油價高漲，幫忙接機的同學也是自願服務，因此學生會建議申請接機的新生補助接機的駕駛美金25元，請新生直接交由接機的同學，MTSA並不經手此項補助。

4. MTSA是學生組織並非接機公司，幫忙接機的同學都是自願服務，請申請接機的新生體諒MTSA以及接機同學的辛苦。如對接機服務有疑慮，請逕洽Ann Arbor觀光局網頁所提供的接機公司詢問相關服務。
