Final Report
The purpose of this assignment is to complete your
project report, to prepare it for publication on the web,
and to organize your 5 minute presentation.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Write
HTML. Convert your project report to html during
lab. Follow directions in the
HTML
Instructions document.
2. Complete final revisions.
Complete the final revisions to your "Project
Report." As you update the "Project Report"
document, be sure to copy and paste any changes to your html
files. Be sure to save changes often and make multiple
backups. Print out a copy to turn in.
3. Prepare class presentation.
Prepare a 5 minute description of your project for
presentation in lecture. You should: (1) state your
question, (2) show your movies (these will be available for
you on the classroom computer, (3) use one or two pairs of
graphs to illustrate the answer to your research question,
and (4) share the most enjoyable, funny, memorable, or
dreadful aspect of your project experience. Print out a page
with your project title, project group name, team member
names, the graphs you plan to show in class, and any text
that you want to include, and copy it onto a transparency
for use in class. You will need to turn in a copy of your
overhead (on paper) to Dr. Gross in class when you present
your project. The 5 minute limit will be strictly enforced!
4. Organize ZIP disks.
Organize one ZIP disk to be turned in with the print out
of your final project report.
Grading
Here's what you turn in (100 points total):
1. Final print-out of your "Project Report"
document for final project assessment. Please follow the
formatting directions provided in the
Project
Requirements document (75 pts)
2. One ZIP disk for report publication on the web (10 pts
total)
3. One print out of the transparency that you use to
illustrate your presentation. This needs to be turned in at
the beginning of lecture on the day of presentation in class
(15 pts total for class presentation of project).
* You can pick up your ZIP disks at the final exam.
