INTRODUCTION

The movement which the "inclines" group has decided to analyze is the sit-up. The project will examine this movement and find the difference between sit-ups on an horizontal surface and an inclined surface. The main objective of this project is to find out which sit-up is more effective, thereby analyzing and comparing the difficulty of each. It is important to know which sit-up is more beneficial to the body in terms of increasing muscle definition.

The purpose of this analyzation is to show which movement is more difficult. Included in this investigation , we are also trying to find which movement is more beneficial to muscle toning and why this movement is more beneficial. In comparing the two sit-ups, we expect that the inclined sit-up is more strenuous due to gravity which increases the load on the body. In order to evaluate which sit-up is more difficult, we will assume that by increasing the amount of load on the body indicates increasing difficulty of the motion.
