Introduction to DWI Analysis, Part 1
Andy Jahn
Tue, 2 Aug, 2018

This workshop will cover the fundamentals of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), in addition to basic quality assurance checks for DWI data. We will finish the workshop by using FSL’s TBSS suite to fit tensors to the diffusion data. This workshop will also serve as an introduction to MRtrix, an advanced DWI analysis software package. Introduction to DWI Analysis, Part 2
Andy Jahn
Tue, 25 Sep, 2018

This second workshop will build upon the previous session by further exploring MRtrix. Unlike FSL’s TBSS, MRtrix accounts for crossing fibers by using a technique called constrained spherical deconvolution (CSD). We will be comparing this technique to the traditional tensor fitting models to see what kinds of research questions can be answered with each technique.

Using Graph Theory with fMRI Data
Andy Jahn
Tue, 11 Dec, 2018

Graph theory is a relatively new tool in fMRI analysis, especially as applied to resting state data. We will be using the Brain Connectivity Toolbox (BCT) to explore nodes and networks in a resting state data set, and we will provide scripts that you can use with your own data.
