The development of economically and ecologically sustainable products and services is the focus of our work. Our research is more specifically concerned with the application of systems-oriented approaches to environmental assessment and management of product systems. Research projects at CSS fall into three topic areas: life cycle design, life cycle assessment, and industrial ecology.
