2002 Forest Ecology class on the Smokies Trip in Tennessee (the best trip ever!)

Forest Ecology (NRE 435) is a fall term 4 credit field course
at the University of Michigan - School of Natural Resources & Environment
emphasizing landscape ecosystems.

Lectures are held MWF 11am-noon and lab meets Thursday or Friday from 1-6pm.

What is important today is to change our understanding of the world, to focus
on ecosystems rather than on the individual species and organisms that are part of them.
