Field Work: Many students find it useful to bring a small bottle of water for soil testing, a pocket knife, a towel, and a compass.  We suggest using a soft pencil (#1) for field notes.   We are typically in the field 4 hrs. at a stretch and many students like to bring something to snack on and drink, preferably water.

Vans leave at 1:10 PM sharp.

We go out in any weather so dress appropriately!
