Strange Happenings . . . . . .

Nothing in particular here but a few announcements of some weird
(but required!!) things that will be going on this term.  And you
never can tell what will happen.  In particular. . . . .

October 26 is a little dealie we call the "Halloween Howl".
Here you'll see spooks, and bats, and freaks, and, well you'll
have a test.  This will be an indoor lab identificaton exam of 50
of the plants you have learned thus far.  You will twice be given
25 plants, which may include fresh material, bark, twigs, or fruit,

to identify in 30 minutes.  Times and locations TBA.

December 21 is the "Christmas Sing".  Again you should expect
the unexpected.  In particular, this is sort of a repeat of the
Halloween Howl but with a much more festive tone, and of
course twice the plants.  Here you'll identify 100 plants in sets of
25 per 30 minutes.

Be sure to check this space around exam times (both field and
indoor exams) for announcements about review sessions.
