Lab 1: Sept. 11, 12, 13 Miller's Woods:  Beech-Sugar Maple forest ecosystems
Lab 2: Sept. 18, 19, 20 Radrick Forest:  Old-growth Oak-Hickory ecosystems
Lab 3: Sept. 25, 26, 27 Waterloo Recreation Area:  Oak-Hickory ecosystems; Swamps
Lab 4: Oct. 2, 3, 4 Haven Hill:  Dry Oak Forest; Wet-mesic forest; Swamp
Lab 5: Oct. 9, 10, 11 Lawrence Woodlot:  Oak forests; second-growth forests on old lake plain; sandy,seasonally wet terrain
Lab 6: Oct. 16, 17, 18 Bird Hills:  Oak-hickory ecosystems; introduced species
Lab 7: Oct. 23, 24, 25 Ecosystems and Woody Plants of Mystery - Field Identification Exam I
EXAM: Oct. 26 Midsemester Indoor Lab Identification Exam "Halloween Howl" Thursday Night
Lab 8: Oct. 30, 31, Nov. 1 Lower Huron Metropark:  River Floodplain forests;along nature trails; mostly dry
Lab 9: Nov. 6, 7, 8 Huron River and Stinchfield Woods:  River floodplainhardwoods and coniferplantations; roadsides anddry uplands
Lab 10: Nov. 13, 14, 15 Mud Lake Bog:  Swamp and bog ecosystems. Wet!  Cold!  Exciting!
Lab 11: Nov. 20, 21, 22 Ecosystems and Woody Plants of Mystery- Field Identification Exam II
Nov. 23-26 THANKSGIVING VACATION
Lab 12: Nov. 27, 28, 29 Saginaw Forest: Conifer plantations; dry upland to moist lowland. Cold!
Lab 13: Dec. 4, 5, 6  Nichols Arboretum: Introduced species -- conifers,
Appalachian Mountain species; upland.  Cold!
Lab 14: Dec 11, 12, 13 U.M. Campus: Ornamental and cultivated species.  Snow!  Very Cold!
EXAM:  Final Indoor Lab Identification Exam: "Christmas Sing", Thursday, December 21, 10:30-12:30
