Our
Chapter of OCF has adopted as a patron saint, the Holy Martyr Saint Peter the Aleut, for his
devotion to the Orthodox Faith. When faced with threats of torture and
religious persecution, Saint Peter boldly refused to renounce his Orthodox
ways. His martyrdom and undying faith are an inspiration to all Orthodox
Christians. Today, we commemorate his feast day on September 24th. To read a
more detailed passage on St. Peter the Aleut, click here. |
