The committee is committed to providing educational opportunities for all business and finance staff. During the academic year, the committee sponsors four Brown Bag events at cultural institutions on the Ann Arbor campus or invites cultural experts to discuss items of interest with the participants. The events usually feature a presentation by a professor, curator or archivist, a box lunch, and depending on the venue - a tour of the cultural facility. The popular brown bag events have become a well-respected opportunity for staff to learn about the University's vast cultural resources and about the world around us.
