Nsostamokiiwans, To Understand Little Things, (Explanation)

Because the language is so descriptive it is important to learn colors early. Colors are always used as verbs. Most colors will use either the third person singular or the third person plural. There are three root verbs to choose from:

  • enaande - something classified as inanimate is colored
  • enaanzo - something (or someone) classified as animate is colored
  • enaazhe - something that shines, or is light

Here is the pattern to use when making statements about colors.

-aande
color + -aanzo noun
-aazhe
