You Do It - Commands to one person - Notice how all the verbs end with an "n."

  • Baakiiganan mazinaigan - turn the page
  • Minozheyan - Be good, you!
  • Onibaan. - You go to sleep / to bed. (a command to one person)
  • Wiisinin - You eat.
  • Kidon - You say it.
  • Namadabin - You sit.
  • Maajaan maampii - You come here.
  • Bi izhaan maampii - You come here.
  • Boonikan giigido biiapkoons.
    Leave it alone the talking wire (phone).
    Get off the phone.
  • Biintoon g'do aanchkinigan. - Clean it your room.
  • Zaagajitan n'do aanchkiniganing. - Get out my room.

Yous Do It - Commands to more than one person - Notice how all the verbs end with a "ag" or "ig".

  • Bekaayag. - Be quiet (you all!) Bizaanyag - Be quiet (you all!)
  • Onibaag. - Yous go to sleep / to bed. (as in a command to several people)
  • Kina goya biimskoodabig - Yous sit in a circle.

"Daa" (Let's Do it) Commands - Notice how these commands end with "daa."

  • Aambe wiisinidaa
    Come let's eat
  • Maajtadaa.
    Start (let's all do it).

"Shin" (You do it to or for me) Commands

  • Jiimshin.
    Kiss (you do it to me).
  • Naadamoshin.
    Help (you do it to me).
  • Booniikwishin.
    Quit it (you do it to me).
    "Leave me alone."
  • Zhooniyaa miinshin.
    Money give it to me.
  • Naadamooshin gezibiiganaagane'aa.
    Help me wash the dishes.
