1. Izhaadaa enji-jiingtamok.
Let's go to the pow wow.

2. Weneshpii ezhi giizhigak waa jiingtamok?
What is the day and date of the pow wow?

3. Noongwa Manii-giizhigak miinwa Name-giizhigak.
This Saturday and Sunday.

4. Niio giizhigak mii pii waa teg wi jiingtamok.
On the 4th day is when it will be, the pow wow.

5. Aapiish enji-jiingtamowaad?
Where is the place they are pow wow-ing?

6. Saline Aabitowing Kinomaagegamigong wii ji-jiingtamok.
At Saline Middle School will be the pow wow.

7. G'gaa izhaami enji-jiingtamok.
We should go there to the pow wow.

8. Biingeshigaadeg maanda jiingtamowin.
The first song is the Grand Entry.

9. Naaniibawiig miinwaa giiskamaag g'wiikwaanan megwa migizikewin bimwiidood zhimaganish wii biinged.
Stand and remove your hats while the eagle staff is brought as a veteran enters.
10. N'gaa niimtanaa maanda Anishinaabeg ezhi-gaabwewaad.
We're all going to dance the intertribal dance.

11. Nitaa dewegewag miinwaa aapchigwa minomaazwag.
They drum good and really sing well.

12. Nagazadamag maanda dewegan enewesing.
Hear the rhythm this drum the way it sounds.
Listen to the honor beats from the drum.

13. Naaning nindan bebkaan ezhinaagwaad ezhi-niiming.
Five those different ways of seeing how to dance.
There are five different dances.

14. Chimiizinegaa maaba nini ezhi-niimid.
The fancy dance this man is dancing.

15. Niimiwag gichianishinaabe zhigaawin.
They are dancing traditional style.

16. Gii bakinaage ziibaaska'igan zhigaawin.
She won the jingle dance.

17. Aapchigwa nanaangwagwashkine memengwaansing ezhi-niimi.
She is dancing like a butterfly (fancy shawl dancer).

18. Kweshkaanaa'aan miishkonsiing ezhi-niimiwag.
They are dancing the grass dance.

19. Kina igo e-naamjig bebkaan enewsijigewag aanchtkwokiiwaad.
Everyone of the dancers a different sound they make while they are taking steps.

20. Aapchigwa nitaa niimiwag miinwa nanagabazagowag.
They dance good and they dance light.
