As part of a recent outreach program, The Arc of Michigan, translated some of their beliefs into Anishinaabemowin. The Arc exists to empower citizens with developmental disabilities.

Here are their powerful words:

G'noondaaigom gwa ezhi-gagwede'ig.
We hear what you are asking.

Nishin igo ge giinwa enendaamig.
It's really good to know what you all think.

N'wiikijitoonaa maanda wii naadamagooig ezhi-bagosendamig.
We are trying to help you have what you hope for.
