Mission Statement:

Transgender students face numerous challenges and barriers on our campus. As a result of their experiences, the University of Michigan's Division of Student Affairs (DSA) has formed a "Gender Identity Working Group" comprised of students, faculty, and staff. Their mission is to analyze the needs of transgender students, determine where the needs are not being met, and create a list of recommendations to forward to the DSA leadership. We hope to make this process visible to all. Our meeting minutes and recommendations will be posted to this website along with mechanisms for us to receive anonymous feedback.
