Overview of the application process:
- Application
All applications must be completed via PharmCAS (Pharmacy College Application Service) at http://www.pharmcas.org. The submission deadline is December 1.
- Supplemental Application
A Pharmacy Supplemental Application is required along with a personal statement and resume. Click here for supplemental application. Print and complete the application. You must indicate on this form when you have completed or plan to complete each required pre-pharmacy course and submit the form along with the $50.00 fee to:

- References
Two references are required. One must be from an employer. Personal recommendations are not acceptable. Do not deliver references to the College of Pharmacy. All references must be electronically through PharmCAS (http://www.pharmcas.org/).
- Submitting Transcripts
Send official college transcripts directly to the PharmCAS address. If you are enrolled during the admissions process, have your updated transcript sent after fall term grades have been posted.
- Foreign transcripts must be translated by World Educational Services, Inc. or Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. and submitted in report form to PharmCAS before December 1.
- Canadian transcripts must be submitted directly to the College of Pharmacy before December 1.
- PCAT Examination
The PCAT is required. Schedule the PCAT by August and have the results sent to PharmCAS. (School Code 029)
- TOEFL and TSE Tests
If English is not your native language, schedule the TOEFL (including the written and verbal components) and have the results sent to the PharmCAS address. If you have completed any ESL coursework, you are required to take the TOEFL. Also note that having a college degree does not exempt applicants from taking the TOEFL.
- If you are admitted to the Doctor of Pharmacy program and have completed a degree before starting the program, you will be classified as a graduate-professional student for financial aid purposes. If you have not completed a degree, you will be classified as an undergraduate student for the first two years and as a graduate-professional student during your final two years of enrollment.
- An on-site interview is required for all applicants. This is one of several criteria for admission into the Pharm.D. program. Interviews take place in October, November, February and March.
