525. Medicine from Nature. Third- or fourth-year Pharm.D. standing. I. (2) Maximum enrollment: 10. Paul. Chemistry, biology, and therapeutics of natural products will be examined and critically evaluated. The rationale for their uses in various societies will be examined. Based on current knowledge, the appropriate or inappropriate use of such products in out society will be explored considering the chemistry and therapeutic action of constituents they contain.

572. Investigations in Pharmacognosy. Permission of instructor. I, II, III, IIIa, and IIIb. (1-6) Staff. Original investigation of a laboratory or library problem to be selected after consultation with the instructor. A paper is required.
