Imagine this. It's 5:00 pm and your anatomy lab group calls it quits. You've just had eight miserable hours of classes. You and your weary lab partners are heading home. They have to trek through snow or brave icy roads to make it back. Then they'll have to spend the next hour making dinner. But not you. You take a short stroll under a covered walkway. You walk in the door to find that dinner is ready and on the table. You take a seat amongst friends for a delicious and relaxing meal. You've saved yourself valuable time and energy each day, and all because you made the best decision of your life.

You decided to live in Phi Rho Sigma.

Phi Rho Sigma is a co-ed medical society. Just down the street from the medical center is the historic English Tudor house we call home. Thirty-two women and men from all four medical school classes live, eat, and study together here in an environment that supports the difficult lifestyle of medical students.

Phi Rho Sigma is an easy choice for many reasons:

  • Cost: At only $650/month for rent and a full meal plan, Phi Rho is the best deal in Ann Arbor!
  • Location: We're so close, you can afford to hit the snooze button a few times without being late to class! Click here to see a map.
  • Food: Our Master Chef Amy makes the best food -- it's like eating at your own personal restaurant every day!
  • House Events: Phi Rho is famous for our big Jello-shot, Progressive, and Black & White parties, widely renowned as the best med school parties all year.
  • Sports: IM Football, Volleyball, Broomball, and more. Co-ed participation! Anything is possible. Even Whiffleball on the lawn!

For more information or to make arrangements, please contact house president Amy Li (amyli@umich.edu).

Feel free to stop by anytime for the grand tour!
