The U-Club Poetry Slam aims to provide students with a fun and safe space to share, really, whatever is on their minds. Students, faculty, staff and community are invited to join us every other Thursday, and rock the mic however they deem fit. Some things you need to know:

1) this is a community, act like it! Have fun, meet people, enjoy the coffee from Amer's--do your thing.

2) If it is your first time on the mic, you are a.... VIRGIN. and it will be know. Enjoy it, you're only a virgin once.

3) Poetry is the point, not the points. Don't worry about scores, you will get love either which way... Bring your poetry, not your ego.
