| Interests: |
| What keeps my sanity most of the time is cooking, good music, and photography. Backpack traveling is written in permanent marker on my To-do list. I’m inspired by the people around me. |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| My favorite part about PROVIDES is the letter writing events. Reading the letters from the kids always makes your day brighter. No matter where you go, kids are always the same – even if they have nothing but a straw or some rock to play with, they always have a smile on their face no matter what hardships they have to go through. That is an amazing thing to me and I think I have a lot to learn from them. It’s reason I love being a part of PROVIDES! |

- Favorite celebrity: Audrey Hepburn
- Favorite food: Sweet potatoes
- Favorite super hero power: Ability to multiply myself so I can be everywhere and do everything and meet everyone all at once.
|
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| It’s hard for me to travel much, but PROVIDES is a great way to make a global impact despite geographical restrictions. I love being able to write directly to the kids, which is what first enticed me to join, courtesy of Kit. |

| I love live music and ethnic food. I also enjoy doing yoga in my free time and being silly with friends. |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| I joined provides when I was a junior and have loved every minute of it since then! Not only is it an organization with a great cause, but the Eboard is a group
of quality, dedicated individuals. Provides has allowed me to become more active on
campus and do community service. I am very fond of letter writing- from both ends- when members get together and write and also when we recieve letters from the kids. GO
PROVIDES! |

Like hanging out with friends but get mad when disturbed in my sleep. Like sports but
like eating too. Like music but sing horribly. Just like many other girls, shopping is a
welcomed activity anytime. Enjoy good movies and musicals.
P/S: Love stuffed animals!!! |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
What I love most about PROVIDES is the opportunity to make a difference in places so far
away! It feels good to know that you are doing something good, and to be sharing our
blessings with others not quite as fortunate. Go PROVIDES go!!! |

| Me & PROVIDES: |
| Community service has been one of my main extracurricular activities ever since my high school days. With the multitude of organizations offered at U of Michigan, I wanted to select an activity which I would be thoroughly passionate about, in order to retain my interest. Working with PROVIDES has had a very positive impact on my college career as I am able to form valuable friendships and build intrapersonal and leadership skills. This is my third year involved with PROVIDES and I embrace every aspect of the experience from the correspondence with members to weekly meetings to setting up for fundraiser events. |

Position: |
Fundraising Coordinator |
| Year/Major: |
Senior, Biochemistry |

| Interests: |
| Most of my time is spent doing research on the mechanisms of opioid dependence in the Department of Pharmacology. Productive activities aside, I also enjoy tennis, running, piano, video games, and most importantly, good food, good friends and good stories. |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| I first joined PROVIDES out of curiosity but stuck with the group because it really gave me the opportunity to “travel abroad” and learn about cultures and people that I would otherwise pay little attention to. Letter reading and writing is definitely my favorite part of PROVIDES. I always love hearing from the children and watching them grow up and hopefully, to become independent and responsible members of their own communities. |

| Bio & Interests: |
| I am a sophomore who is planning on going into International Relations.
I currently take French and someday hope to work for the World Health Organization, the
UN, the State Department, or a non-profit organization. My favorite thing in the world
is traveling and after college I plan on joining the Peace Corps. In my free time I like
to read, watch tons of movies, play
ultimate frisbee, drink coffee, do crossword puzzles, and hang out with my friends. I
also collect postcards from around the world. |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| I joined PROVIDES 2nd semester of my freshmen year after hearing that it was a club that
sponsored third world children. Because I liked the people and the mission of the club
so much I decided to take a more active role and run for an office. My favorite thing
about PROVIDES is celebrating other cultures right here at home through events like the
Cuisine and Culture Festival where I can taste international dishes and see multicultural
dances all while supporting a good cause! |

| Starbucks and chocolate. Actually just Starbucks and candy in general. |
| Me & PROVIDES: |
| I started working with PROVIDES through Circle K, which sponsors Jariya from Thailand. I saw PROVIDES as a great organization with a lot of potentials and decided to make it a bigger part of my life. I make and maintain the website, which makes my role in PROVIDES more glorified than it actually is. |
