Grading Rubric for Final Developmental Project
 Due 11/22 by 10 AM
Note: This is the grading rubric that I will be using for your final paper. 
Please be sure to address all of the information on this rubric. 
Your paper will also be grading on the clarity and organization. 
Therefore be sure that your paper is written so that I can easily assess 
how well you addressed the following areas (use clearly to follow headers and subheads).

20 points	Developmental issues and questions
			5 points - Are the developmental issues clearly identified?
						Statement of thesis at end of the introduction (2 points)
			10 points - Includes multiple persepectives
						 Use of at least three of the following: age, gender, race, cluture, 
						  relgion, etc.
			5 points - Connected to course topics/discussions?
						 Demonstrate that your topics/discussion relate to course material.
						  Use of key terms - don't define them, rather demonstrate a mastery of the material.


 30 Points Evidence & Support
 			10 points - at least 12 refernces
			15 points - Analyses
						  Note: Demonstrate a clear use of your references.  Do NOT restate the study/methods
						         of your studeis, rater summarize its findings/results and relate it to your 
								 personal experience.

30 Points Personal reactions and interpretation
 	 	15 points - Integrates personal experiences and views 
Use personal experiences to support/debunk your research findings. This paper should be about 50% personal experience
		15 points - evalutes evidence and ideas		

10 points 	Synthesis and Conclusion 
2 points - Restate thesis in your conclusion
3 points - Combines and reconciles evidence
5 points - Makes a logical conclusion (Don't restate all of your findings; rather give me your thoughts on the topic.)
10 Points 	Writing Style
 			5 points - Follows APA style/ correct grammar and spelling 
						Follows prior paper comments, handouts and WebPages as given in class
			5 points - Coherent organization, readability, personal voice
						 Include headers and subheaders, page numbers, double space, 1" margings,
						 Times New Roman Font, NO cover page.

10 points 	Peer Review
Include a separate sheet, or rough draft with 3 constructive comments/suggestions from another Psych 350 student. Include his or her name, GSI's name and section number on the peer review sheet.
