Welcome to the website for developmental psychology sections 4, 6, and 11!  You should check this website before section each week as I will be posting discussion questions and announcements.  Please feel free to email me questions or comments at any time throughout the course.  I will do my best to be available and to respond in a timely manner.  I have posted the content of the section syllabus on this website on the 'general policies' page and the 'syllabus' page.

Purpose of Discussion Section

This section is designed to explore issues of developmental psychology in greater depth. By learning from one another’s ideas and experiences, the goals of this section are to 1) enhance understanding of course material; 2) engage in critical thinking; and 3) illuminate the links between developmental theory/research and real-world application. Discussion section complements lecture, it does not reiterate material. To fully benefit from this section you should attend lecture, read material beforehand, and complete all assignments on time.
