Paper #4
You must have at least 4 different references cited in your introduction
At least 1 of them must be an article you found yourself (i.e., not
a textbook, an article cited in a textbook, or a coursepack article)
How to do it
Go to the library webpage and click on MIRLYN
Choose Indexes (not library catalogs)
Choose PsycInfo
- It will ask for your name and ID#
Searches
Search by article title, author name, subject, or keyword
Keyword searches give you the most flexibility
For example: k = eyewitness and confidence
What to search for
Articles with your specific topic are good (obviously)
So are the individual components of your topic (e.g., race, inadmissible
evidence, pre-trial publicity, etc.)
Assignment
Two copies of the draft of your introduction are due by Friday 12/1
at noon
- (note extension/change from syllabus due date)
- (note what a nice guy I am)
Intro should contain lit review, as well as explanation of your interaction
hypothesis
