Congratulations to Wendy Behnke for playing 50 holes on her 50th Birthday!
With the strong possibility of frost delays and diminishing daylight, the first tee time will shift later and later into the morning for the remainder of the season.
The shop staff will continue to answer the phones at 8:00 a.m. We will notify you of changes to this schedule via rfannouncements.
The course is scheduled to be aerated on October 27th. The course will be closed all day and at least until noon the following day. Our grounds crew aims to have at least nine holes open on the 28th.
History and Purpose
Owned and operated by the University of Michigan, Radrick
Farms Golf Course is a championship 18-hole course designed by
prominent golf course architect Pete Dye. Opened for play in
1965, the 275-acre rolling layout (7,000 yards from the maize
tees) is located just east of campus. Faculty and staff as well
as alumni of the University enjoy the beauty and challenges of
this fabulous course.
Radrick Farms was the gift of Frederick C. Matthaei Sr., loyal
alumnus and Regent of the University of Michigan. It is named
in honor of Mr. Matthaei's sons, Konrad and Frederick. Mr. Matthaei
donated the property and funds for the construction of the course
at the suggestion of President Harlan Hatcher.
Our Mission: To provide eligible golfers
of the University of Michigan with a superior playing experience
on an exceptionally maintained course.
