The golf course is open for the 2008 golf season on a day
to day basis. We are very lucky to have an excellent returning
staff and some new faces too.
As usual in April, the amenities are limited. The food offerings
are limited and the food "cart" stand is not yet opened.
Due to some plumbing issues, there will not be drinkable tap
water offered on the golf course nor in the clubhouse. However,
we have brought in lots of bottled water for sale at a reduced
price. Please have patience while we solve these complicated
problems.
The driving range is limited to the astroturf mats until further
notice.

History and Purpose
Owned and operated by the University of Michigan, Radrick
Farms Golf Course is a championship 18-hole course designed by
prominent golf course architect Pete Dye. Opened for play in
1965, the 275-acre rolling layout (7,000 yards from the maize
tees) is located just east of campus. Faculty and staff as well
as alumni of the University enjoy the beauty and challenges of
this fabulous course.
Radrick Farms was the gift of Frederick C. Matthaei Sr., loyal
alumnus and Regent of the University of Michigan. It is named
in honor of Mr. Matthaei's sons, Konrad and Frederick. Mr. Matthaei
donated the property and funds for the construction of the course
at the suggestion of President Harlan Hatcher.
Our Mission: To provide eligible golfers
of the University of Michigan with a superior playing experience
on an exceptionally maintained course.
